Provides an intense crisp white light with a perfect touch of BLUE spectrum. 14k bulbs are designed to bring out the neon colors of corals and fish. Also replicates a daylight reef situation with enough blue spectrum to enhance the corals neon colors. Although, the coral growth under 14k bulbs is impressive, it is not as rapid compared to lower Kelvin bulbs.
